How you can get involved
Advocating
Stand with us and put forward the Jewish case for a fair asylum system. Our Advocacy Coordinator provides training and mentoring – helping you become an effective advocate for change. From writing to your MP to joining our grassroots advocacy network, there’s loads of ways to make a difference.
Mobilising
You’ll ensure our issues are kept at the forefront of the Jewish community. We’ll provide resources, helping you encourage activism and engage your community. You could run a Refugee Shabbat event, become a HIAS+JCORE ambassador, or lead your community to become a Synagogue of Sanctuary – all helping build a Jewish movement for refugees.
Supporting
Help refugee and asylum-seeking young people overcome challenges and rebuild their lives through volunteering as a befriender on our transformative JUMP project. We’re also seeking volunteers to collect and deliver essential goods – and you could make a direct impact on people seeking safety in this country. (Please note: if you are interested in befriending with JUMP, there is an additional application process, including a training session which you are required to pass before commencing volunteering).
Thriving
Support our office team to deepen our impact and ensure we raise the funds to deliver our crucial work.

Donate Today
Support our work for a UK where refugees and asylum seekers flourish, as a part of a society free from xenophobia and racism.
