    When Amir was younger, his dream was to come to the UK to complete his studies in university. He wanted to come here legally to study and to live. Amir is a 17 year old Syrian refugee who is living in London. In some regards he is living his dream, but it didn’t come about the way he expected.     Karim came to the UK on his own from Afghanistan when he was 16. He was put straight into Foster Care, but then had to leave as the Home Office did not think he was a child. Karim did not know what to do, whether to study, or how to seek work. Karim was on his alone and did not have anyone to support him.
