Dr Edie Friedman
Founder and Executive Director
Born in Chicago and influenced by the civil rights movement, Edie set up JCORE in 1976. She is a regular speaker and writer on race and asylum issues, authoring and co-authoring books and educational resources.
John manages the office and tries to make everything run smoothly!
Adam is a solicitor and partner at Mishcon de Reya.
Born in Southend, he spent his primary school years in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and after studying law and accounting at Manchester University, spent a sabbatical year as National Secretary of the Union of Jewish Students (UJS). He is a trustee of the Jewish Youth Fund (a charity which makes grants for Jewish youth activities in the UK), and has been a trustee of JCORE since 2014.
