Connections: Hidden
British Histories
Date: Tuesday 3rd March at 8pm
at: Edgware & District Reform Synagogue,
118 Stonegrove, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 8AB
In today's Europe ethnic diversity is mixed with growing racism and intolerance. Because of this, it is particularly important for us all to make links with other communities. In this session we will be looking at JCORE's exhibition Connections, which looks into the hidden histories of Asian, Jewish and Black people in Britain. We will discuss different Jewish experiences of migration and ask how these connect with the experiences of others from Eastern Europe. |

Kate Davies, from YouGov (the leading professional research organisation in public opinion) will be joining us to look at how the media portrays East European immigrants.
